A Good Dog is more than just a short film. It
is a quest to re-discover the charm of animation
- a charm that we feel has all but disappeared
from the medium today.
Between the epic features, 3D-effects
and silly gags that dominate animation these days,
we are naïve enough to believe that there
is still room for feelings, relationship, and
believable characters; for a story that is at
the same time carefree and touching; and for high-quality
character animation that actually has character.
With rich subtext concerning the
values in life, A Good Dog is an opportunity for
us to say something about things that really matter.
Oh, and of course - this film is handdrawn, just
like in the old days.
